RF Microneedling
Radiofrequency microneedling is a minimally invasive, cosmetic procedure that uses tiny needles and radiofrequency waves to rejuvenate facial skin. The fine needles create microwounds, or channels, in the skin. This triggers the production of capillaries, elastin, and collagen. Coupled with the radiofrequency waves, the needle releases radiofrequency into the channels, causing additional damage that enhances the effects of standard microneedling. This controlled skin inflammation stimulates the growth of healthy new skin, making it thicker and smoother.Â

FAQs
What to expect during and after procedure?
A healthcare provider cleans your skin with alcohol to prevent infection and applies a topical anesthetic to the treatment area about 1 hour before the procedure to help mitigate pain. The procedure takes 10 to 30 minutes. Depending where you’re treating.
After the procedure, you can go home and return to your normal activities. Skin care with active ingredients will be avoided for about 7 days and SPF should be worn daily.
When to expect results?
Most patient see results after 3 to 6 months. The exact time frame depends on the type and severity of your condition. In most cases, you’ll need at least three or four sessions. This also depends on what you’re treating. For example, if you have moderate acne scars, you’ll need about three or four treatments. Bigger scars might need five treatments.
Treatment is done every 3 to 8 weeks. After the initial set of treatments, the results are expected to last about 1 year. It’s recommended to have a touch-up session once a year to maintain your desired results.
